Write to us
Email us with any problem, suggestion or question. Help → Write to us in the App menu adds the version and device details automatically, which helps us solve the issue faster. You do not need to send your tables; if you like, share only the column headers.
Opening a file
- From inside the App: tap "Open file" on the start screen and pick the file. It is added to "Recent files" and reopens with one tap.
- From a file manager or an email attachment: tap the file → "Open with Pivel".
- From the share sheet: share the file from WhatsApp, Gmail, Drive and similar apps → choose Pivel.
The file size limit is 40 MB. For larger files we recommend splitting them into sheets on a computer.
Supported formats
| Extension | Notes |
|---|---|
.xlsx .xlsm | Excel workbook. Multi-sheet files show sheet tabs; merged cells and formula results are read. Macros are not executed. |
.xls | Legacy Excel format. |
.csv .tsv .txt | Text table. The delimiter and number format (1,234.56 / 1.234,56) are detected from the file itself. |
.pivel | A filter/summary layout template. Not a table; when opened it shows a preview and is added to "My filters". |
Password-protected files cannot be opened. The first row of a sheet is taken as the header; if the header is further down, Pivel tries to find it.
"No longer have access to this file" message
If you see this when opening a file from "Recent files", the file was moved or deleted, or the app providing it (some cloud drives) did not grant a persistent permission. Simply pick the file again with "Open file"; the entry in the list is updated.
.pivel templates
You can send a filter or summary layout as a .pivel file with "Share" in the menu. When the recipient taps the file, Pivel opens, shows a summary of the layout and adds it to "My filters" on confirmation. A template is tied to column names: it works with any table that has the same headers. Before sharing, the App shows you the values selected in the layout (for example customer names).
Cancelling the subscription
Cancellation is done from your store account, not from the App. Manage subscription in the App menu takes you straight to the right screen.
Android
- Open Google Play and tap your profile icon at the top right.
- Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select Pivel → Cancel subscription.
Direct link: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
iPhone / iPad
- Settings → tap your name at the top.
- Subscriptions → Pivel.
- Cancel Subscription.
When you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription. If you cancel during a free trial you are not charged.
Refunds
Because Google Play or Apple took the payment, the refund decision is theirs; Nimbolic has no access to the payment.
- Google Play: within 48 hours of purchase, go to Order history → Pivel → Request a refund. After 48 hours use the Google Play support form.
- Apple: at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose the purchase and submit "Request a refund".
If your request is declined and you believe you have a valid reason, write to us; we will help you with the store.
Restoring a subscription
If you moved to a new phone, sign in with the same store account and tap Restore purchases in the App menu. The subscription is tied to your store account; since Pivel has no accounts, nothing else is needed.
Deleting your data
Pivel keeps no account and does not store your tables; the only thing to delete is the App data on your device.
- From inside the App: Menu → Clear my data. Saved filter layouts, the recent-files list and the "where you left off" record are removed.
- Completely: uninstall the App. Everything including settings is removed; since there is no copy on any server, it cannot be recovered.
- Subscription verification data: to have the purchase records tied to your anonymous app ID deleted, write to destek@nimbolic.com. Details in Privacy Policy · Your rights.
